DENTON (UNT), Texas -- The University of North Texas offers the first Engineering-Systems program in Texas. The MS degree program, housed in the Department of Engineering Technology at the College of Engineering, is an emerging Engineering field. "The Engineering Systems program is a graduate multidisciplinary education and research program with concentrations in Mechanical Systems, Electronic Systems, Construction Management and Engineering Management. The program demands academic rigor and depth, yet addresses the real-world problems of advanced engineering and technology," says Nourredine Boubekri Chair of the Department of Engineering Technology and Interim Chair of Mechanical and Energy Engineering Department. The Engineering Systems program has been launched due to a significant demand by our constituencies and the emerging worldwide need of this discipline.
